At Thurgood Marshall Middle School in the Olympia School District, students help remove invasive species as part of a campus watershed restoration project.

The tools and resources provided to the students are supported by a portion of the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction's federal pandemic relief funds, which the agency earmarked for Environmental Literacy projects.
