Mentor Roundtables 

Mentor Ongoing Opportunities are year-round opportunities for mentors to continue their learning in community with other mentors. After attending Mentor Academy 101 or Nakia Academy, mentors can choose an on-going learning community to engage with others throughout the school year. These are opportunities for mentors and coaches to build knowledge, practice skills, collaborate with colleagues, and reflect on their work supporting educator growth and pursuing educational equity.

BEST's Roundtable offerings are open invitations. Participants can attend one or all sessions of one or more Roundtables based on their needs and interests.

BEST Roundtable Purpose

BEST Roundtable offerings are rooted in Washington Standards for Mentoring. Participants will engage in learning experiences to deepen their understanding as well as developing mentoring practices aligned with the Standards for Mentoring.

  • Deepen understanding of instructional mentoring and educational equity.
  • Practice and develop mentoring skills and competence in Washington State Standards for Mentoring.
  • Connect with others who do similar work.
