OSPI Child Nutrition Services recognizes the exceptional achievements in promoting child nutrition in the learning environment. The Rooted in Excellence awards were created to recognize excellence in school nutrition programs in Washington. School Food Authorities (SFAs) are invited to apply for an award within either the Culinary Cultivator track or the Nurturing Navigator track.

Applications

The award application opens at the beginning of October and closes at the end of February. Award recipients receive a media toolkit including a personalized certificate, digital badge, press release template, public recognition, and more!
