The WA-Access to Instruction & Measurement (WA-AIM) is an alternate assessment based on alternate achievement standards. The WA-AIM is designed for students with significant cognitive challenges. The WA-AIM is a performance task assessment aligned to the K-12 Learning Standards in English language arts, mathematics, and science.
As with all state assessments, annual training is required for individuals who administer or assist in administration of the assessment. Test administrators must also complete the Test Security training located on the WCAP portal. The WA-AIM Training Requirements linked below shows the modules required for test administration.
These training modules are specific to actions required by District and/or School Assessment Coordinators.
These modules are designed for educators who will be administering the WA-AIM to students.
These modules provide the necessary background information on the WA-AIM
The following modules will help users navigate and use the DRC INSIGHT Portal.
