NBCT Leadership Opportunities

You worked hard to become an NBCT. Now how do you stay involved? The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards provides tips on how to Be Informed, Feel Empowered, Get Active.

While all NBCTs and districts in Washington are part of our state's National Board Network, the network is led by a partnership between OSPI, the Washington Education Association (WEA), and the Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession (CSTP). We encourage Washington state NBCTs to:

• Attend OSPI training and become a National Board Cohort Facilitator
• Attend the CSTP-WA Teacher Leadership Conference
• Participate in the WEA Jump Start sessions
