For Progressive Design-Build projects, many project costs are typically lumped together within the Design-Build GMP. For SCAP purposes, these costs must be separately identified and allocated to the appropriate cost categories. Districts should begin tracking and separating these costs at the D-3 stage (and earlier, if appropriate) and maintain the breakout throughout the project as the GMP is developed and amended.
The cost breakdown will be required as part of the applicable D-7 and D-9 submissions. The template below is provided as a guide to the cost information that will be requested in those D-forms; the template itself does not need to be submitted. Amounts must reconcile to the applicable GMP amendment and, ultimately, the total Design-Build contract value.
