The finalists from these regional ESD shows are invited to participate in the Superintendent's High School Art Show.
Celebrating 50 Years of Student Creativity
Each year since 1973, high school students from across the state participate in regional art shows sponsored by the nine Educational Service Districts (ESDs). Finalists from the ESD Art Shows are invited to submit their work to the Superintendent's High School Art Show. Student art is reviewed at the state level with 26 pieces selected for statewide recognition.
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the Superintendent’s High School Art Show. After three years of virtual awards ceremonies, the Art Show will return to an in-person event at Benaroya Hall in Seattle on May 30th, 1 – 3 pm. Entry by ticket only. This gala will feature the presentation of awards to visual arts students and showcase the performing arts. This event is sure to uplift and inspire!
