Equitable Teaching Practices with Cultural Relevance in Financial Education, for grades 9-12

In this training, we will discuss how to have financial conversations and deliver instruction in a culturally appropriate context taking into account students’ different ethnicities, values around money and financial decision-making, and social backgrounds.  Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of how other culture’s values around money impact their financial decision making as well as instructional materials created specifically for traditionally underserved students who may not be familiar with our economic system and financial values.
