What is My Application Status?
An educator or school district can review their current certificate or application status by logging into their E-Certification (eCert) profile or by requesting an update from our department.
Frequently Asked Application Processing Questions
- Where do I apply?

Applications can be submitted in eCert or by mail. This office does not accept faxed or emailed applications. Your eCert or paper application, fee, and any supporting materials must be filed with our office for action to be taken.
- What if my start date is approaching and I have to start working?

If an employee’s start date is approaching, districts can apply for a rush request through the eCert system to expedite an application by following the standard rush request process.
- How will I know if my application has been reviewed?

Once an application is reviewed, the applicant will be notified by email from the eCert system. All communication regarding application status will be via email, as we no longer mail notices or documents.
- How can I get a copy of my certificate?

Once a certificate is issued, the official certificate is available in Portable Document Format (PDF) in the educator's eCert account.
