The TPEP Steering Committee approved the updated Danielson Framework for Teaching (2022) for use for teacher evaluation in Washington. The current version of the Danielson Framework (2011) will continue to be available for use in evaluation in our state through the 2022–23 and 2023–24 school years, as districts transition to the 2022 version of the Danielson Framework for Teaching.
Read The Danielson Group: What's Changed? for a comparison of the two versions of the framework.
The Danielson Group is finalizing the PDF of the updated framework and creating additional resources to support its use. Currently, the updated framework is available as an interactive tool on the Danielson Group website.
