With her background in the culinary industry and her love of volunteering in her children’s classroom, working in child nutrition was a perfect fit for Holly. As the kitchen manager at Chief Joseph she strives to be adaptable in all situations and build a feeling of comradery among staff and students alike. Holly's outgoing personality makes it easy for her to relate to students of all ages. She uses her role as the union president to present ideas and influence decisions to give greater support to students, staff, and the whole community.
Holly says, “During this last year the Nutrition Services team has gone above and beyond our normal in the ways of serving our students. We were serving the community as a whole and in a format very different from indoor service. Our success in our department was due to an amazing team of dedicated individuals I'm so proud to call my co-workers.”
