Title: Border Between Leaf & Illusion
Medium: Photography
Dimensions: 11" x 14"
Inspiration: A love for color, feeling, nature or all three, I aim and aspire to convey something vivid and full of life in my photograph, with feelings and textures that make you wonder, "is this a painting, or a photo, watercolor, or a vivid picture? My goal is to make people appreciate art and color, and in turn, the world for its vivid hues and feelings.
Artist's Name: Ada Chen
Title: Fumy Bakery
Medium: Clay Ceramics
Dimensions: 4.5 x 5 x 4.8
Inspiration: I’m a 3D artist. I love to see a ball of clay turn into something beautiful and intriguing, while expressing my thoughts in a physical form and learning the precision and patience it takes to create intricate designs on a small scale. I aimed to build a book nook style bakery scene so the viewer can envision another world within the shelves while reminiscing in childhood memories.
Artist's Name: Adara Grieco
Title: Rising Reflection
Medium: Mixed Media
Dimensions: 12.5" x 17"
Inspiration: Rising reflection is about self-confidence and finding oneself. In many ways this piece is more so who I want to be than my current self. I would say I'm still finding out who I am. Both of these are what my piece is about. Even if you don’t currently know who you are and feel your confidence is severely lacking, picturing yourself as what you want to be can help you find a way.
Artist's Name: Addison Romey
Title: Perfectly Imperfect
Medium: Mixed Media
Inspiration: This piece is a take on the fountain of youth and the circle of life and is meant to show the beauty and balance of nature. I wanted to focus on the perfect imperfection and delicacy of our world. Every element of this fountain has been organically added and interacted to emphasize form and the meaning behind life and death.

Title: Julius
Medium: Ceramic
Dimensions: 9" x 9.5" x 5"
Inspiration: For my piece "Julius," a ceramic representation of ancient Rome's historical figure Julius Caesar, I used the classic all-white look of Roman art as a blank canvas to make small splashes of color stand out. I wanted my final work to resemble my subject enough to be recognizable, but left room for my interpretation; particularly in the eyes. I am far from a historical expert, but when I think about Caesar, I think about his battles, his seemingly violent nature, and his brutal end, all of which give the impression of a cold and unfeeling personality. It is for this reason that I made his eyes slightly indented rather than curved outward as eyes should be, and let the glaze pool in his irises, giving the impression that they are shallow and empty.

Title: Looking Over Monochrome Fields Whilst Holding Hands with your Horse Headed Love
Medium: Digital Art
Dimensions: 11" x 11"
Inspiration: I have a personal interest in creating characters and worlds for them to live in. My interest is currently clowns in artwork, and I create my work on an iPad using Procreate. I created these characters to be slightly absurd.
Artist's Name: Amber Mudabrah
Title: Peace in Knowledge
Medium: Acrylic
Dimensions: 18" x 24
Inspiration: An acrylic painting made with various techniques such as dry brushing, underpainting, wet-into-wet, and using the color theory to my advantage to depict my cultural knowledge growth. This piece was made through a series of phases where I first created it digitally, then onto a canvas which I tweaked over a month or two depending on if I thought I could improve it further. After coming to America at the age of 11, I was disconnected from my own culture and placed into a new one so this sort of shows the peace I feel after learning more about it and growing my self-identity.
Artist's Name: Angelica Falcon
Title: Mushroom Forest
Medium: Photography
Dimensions: 8" x 11"
Inspiration: I have seen multiple pictures of mushrooms online and I wanted to do one of my own from my grandma’s backyard.
Artist's Name: Anna Campbell
Title: The Birds
Medium: Ink & Watercolor
Dimensions: 23" x 21"
Inspiration: Birds represent freedom, hope, and new beginnings. I wanted to capture the cuteness but also the beauty and majesty in birds. The piece grew my love for birds from a spark and into a flame. Stepping back to see the enormous variety in just a few of these feathered creatures is sort of awe inspiring. I made each of them over quite a long period of time. It took roughly a month and a half or so to finish all of them, basically 1-2 per week. The paintings are already beautiful as individuals but seeing them all matted together made them majestic and awe inspiring for me.
Artist's Name: Anna Munn
Title: Melancholy Clown
Medium: Charcoal
Dimensions: 35" x 23"
Inspiration: This was one of my first pieces that I created entirely by myself without copying other people's art or inspiration. This piece is important to me because it is based on a photo of my sibling dressed as a sad clown.
Artist's Name: Annabella Everano
Title: When Dad Calls
Medium: Mixed Media
Inspiration: This piece is about my father when he calls. He has been in and out of my life and I used to think it wasn't affecting me in any way. I was wrong. My mom actually made me realize that I've been walking around with a chip on my shoulder, bringing out this hatred and distrust in men. Self-awareness of what I'm feeling is important because sometimes I don't say it out loud.
Artist's Name: Ari Deering
Title: A Non-Binary Body
Medium: Ceramic
Dimensions: 14.5" x 10" x 5.5"
Inspiration: This piece is intended to show the pride and struggles of people whose gender identity does not match their outward gender expression. There are elements of pride in the statue's pose, with their shoulders back and chest puffed out. The writing and symbols in black communicate pride and empowerment. Statements of struggle are written on the back of the piece; literal expressions of talking about someone behind their back. The handprint on the shoulder and some of the words in quotes are glazed pink instead of black because pink has certain meanings; often associated with girls. As someone who identifies as gender-neutral, I made this piece to feel more heard and understood by others who don't share the same identities.
Artist's Name: Ariana Lampano
Title: Looking in a Mirror
Medium: Acrylic Paint
Dimensions: 16" x 20 "
Inspiration: The major idea is how we see ourselves and how we influence our perception. How to give value with colors and how to use complementary colors to add depth. I wouldn’t change anything with this painting for the most part, I would just want to improve on my reflections and neatness.
Artist's Name: Aviyah Blackwell
Title: Island Girl
Medium: Oil Paint
Dimensions: 18" x 16"
Inspiration: I wanted to capture the beauty of Samoan Hawaiian women. I enjoy drawing faces and flowers.
Artist's Name: Bailey Lim
Title: Jade Showers
Medium: Clay Ceramics
Dimensions: 2.5 x 6 x 2.3
Inspiration: The view from my bedroom inspired me for this piece. Out my window I see the rain and greenery of the Pacific Northwest. The gentle rain and wind sway the greenery in a calming way, which I tried to incorporate into the design of the bowl. Having just moved to the region, all the colors and movement of the natural scenery inspired me. I chose to submit a bowl because my mom likes to cook noodle soup which is one of my favorite dishes. I also added a cultural touch to the bowl by adding notches to hold chopsticks.
Artist's Name: Bee Pope
Title: Serenity
Medium: Oil Pastel
Inspiration: This project is a collage of my feelings, and every piece has been carefully thought out, from the colors, to the subject herself. Red hues of my love bleed into the blues of the world around, and violet blooms here. This is a piece this shows what it means to be undisturbed our love is violet.
Artist's Name: Brooke Smith
Title: Color Me Happy
Medium: Charcoal
Dimensions: 17" x 17"
Inspiration: I wanted to portray the vibrance and color that art can provide to life. So, the picture is a grey scale monotone portrait of a girl that is "brought to life" with color. The colored-in section resembles a paintbrush stroke to get the point across that art is the "color“ of life.
Artist's Name: Callisto Pleake
Title: #32
Medium: Charcoal
Dimensions: 20" x 16"
Inspiration: My drawing is a charcoal depiction of my close friend, Jordan. The title ‘32’ represents him and will do so for the rest of his football career. To many people, football is just a game, a recreational fall sport, but to Jordan, it's more than a sport. In my drawing, I wanted to capture the feeling of eyes watching you, college scouts that control the trajectory of your future.
Artist's Name: Camille Tetreault
Title: A Dramatic Perspective
Medium: Pastel
Dimensions: 18" x 24
Inspiration: Acting has been a big part of my high school experience. I created this in soft pastels to capture a moment in one of my plays. I wanted to show the viewer that actors in a play are met with many varying positive and negative experiences adding to the drama of life.
Artist's Name: Cao Panya
Title: Disappearance
Medium: Digital Photography
Inspiration: I'm interested in capturing candid moments of beauty in everyday life. In this project, I focused on capturing moments that can only be seen through the camera, and never with the naked eye because of the movement - a dancing dragon only holds its position for a fraction of a second, and will never follow the same path through the air, the paths that fire traces are invisible to the naked eye, but made visible over a few seconds of long exposure, and reality will only be altered through the mirror from one specific angle and soon disappear.
Artist's Name: Charlie Oyler
Title: Summertime Memories
Medium: Charcoal
Dimensions: 18" x 18"
Inspiration: My piece uses charcoal to create an accurate image of my sister and me playing when we were younger. I used an old photograph taken of us to bring the photograph into a drawing with charcoal. I learned while creating this project that there are many details you miss from just the first glance at the photo.
Artist's Name: Chinmayee Kuntulu
Title: Memory Locket
Medium: Ink
Dimensions: 20" x 20"
Inspiration: Memory Locket is a piece dedicated to my grandmother from India who passed and my experiences after I visited my homeland after a decade. The layers of the piece illuminates the phases of life and my grandmothers looking at the positives and negatives of life as it parallels to the obstacles I had to face when questioning my identity. The overlapping detail shows the similar moments of our lives.
Artist's Name: Christian Mendoza
Title: Last First Day
Medium: Colored Pencil
Dimensions: 11" x 16"
Inspiration: As a senior, I wanted to create this piece representing the two roads in life: The road ahead and the road behind us. In my colored pencil piece, I show how one road represents two roads; the road my friend and I have ahead, as well as the road we are leaving behind in high school. The road represents the past and the future.
Artist's Name: Ciera Wallace
Title: 6/4/23
Medium: Ink
Dimensions: 9" x 12"
Inspiration: This piece was inspired by a summer memory I had, where one of my friends and I found a secret treehouse in the woods. It was my favorite day, and I treasure the memory of being in the woods and the peace and quiet and warm summer air.
